This is the second tattoo I have of a sunflower on my thigh. Sunflowers have always been one of my favorite flowers since I can remember. My dad use to grow dozens of them in his garden when I was young because my mother loved them. My kitchen literally use to be sunflower themed because she would buy anything with a sunflower on it. My mom passed away almost three years ago from cancer, so I got this as a tribute of how much she means to me, as well as the love we both shared for the flower (:
